Abuse reports and requests from authorities
How to report a violation on lacuna: a complaint about content, a notice from a rights holder or an official request from a public authority.
Address for reports and requestsabuse@lac.pics
Where to write
We accept complaints, notices from rights holders and requests from public authorities at abuse@lac.pics.
If the violation is in a particular file, the quickest way is “Report” on its page: no account is needed, and the report goes straight to the moderation queue.
For questions about your account, payments or how the service works, please contact support.
What to include
So that we can check a complaint without back-and-forth, please include:
- a link to the content — lac.pics/s/…, lac.pics/e/… or lac.pics/albums/…, to a profile — lac.pics/u/…; if there are several, list all the links in one email;
- what is violated and why — briefly, in your own words;
- if you are the rights holder — which right is infringed, who owns it and what proves it: a link to the original, a registration, a contract or a power of attorney;
- how to reach you for a reply.
Timing
We usually confirm receipt within a day.
Reports of child sexual abuse material are handled first.
Decisions on reports are made by a person, not an algorithm.
What not to send
Do not attach the illegal material itself, especially material involving children: a link is enough, moderators open the content in the service.
Do not send passwords, login keys or other secrets.
Please write in Russian or English.
Vulnerabilities
Found a vulnerability? Write to abuse@lac.pics: what and where, and how to reproduce it. While testing, do not use other people’s accounts or data and do not disrupt the service.
What may not be published is in the terms of service. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.
